Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 149, Section 44A to 44J, inclusive of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Town of Lexington, Massachusetts is seeking bids from qualified General Contractors and Filed-Sub Bid Contractors for the interior renovation of a Town of Lexington owned building located at 173 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA 02420. The existing building is to be renovated into a temporary police station and emergency communications center (E911). The renovation work will include construction of new interior partitions, ballistic resistant opening protections, modifications to existing ceilings, modifications to the HVAC, electrical systems and security & surveillance systems.
The estimated total cost of the work is $340,000.00
A pre-bid walkthrough for Filed Sub-Bidders and General Bidders is schedule to occur on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 9:00 AM local time. The walkthrough will begin at the project location, 173 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA

Hard copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at Andrew T. Johnson Co., Inc., upon payment of a refundable deposit of $200.00 for EACH SET. Make checks payable to the Town of Lexington, MA. Bidders will be limited one (1) set of hard copies by deposit.
Bidders requesting documents to be mailed shall include a separate check, (Company, certified, or money order) made out to Andrew T. Johnson Co. in the amount of $100.00 for UPS Ground service.
