NOTICE TO PREQUALIFIED TRADE BIDDERS
In accordance with Chapter 193 of the Acts and Resolves of 2004, an Act Further Regulating Public Construction in the Commonwealth, and M.G.L. Chapter 149A, Section 8, the City of Peabody, the Awarding Authority, invites bid submissions from pre-qualified Trade (Filed Sub-Bid) Contractors for the construction of the WILLIAM WELCH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by DiNisco Design, Inc., 99 Chauncy Street, Suite 901, Boston, Massachusetts 02111. The project consists of renovating the existing Welch School including demolition and new construction of the entry bay. The school will remain occupied during phased construction. The Construction Manager is Consigli Construction, 72 Sumner Street, Milford, MA 01757.
TRADE SUB-BIDS for the trades listed below will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing local time, Thursday May 12 2022 , at the office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, 24 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA 01960, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
SECTION 210001 – FIRE PROTECTION
SECTION 220001 – PLUMBING
SECTION 230001 – HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING
SECTION 260001 – ELECTRICAL
There will be an optional Pre-Bid Conference and tour of the site led by the CM, OPM and Architect at 3:30 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 50 Swampscott Ave., Peabody, MA 01960. ALL BIDDERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND.

Certified Treasurer’s or Cashier’s Check for $700.00 per set payable to the City of Peabody.
To mail bid documents, also include a separate check (company check is acceptable) in the amount of $150.00 per set, payable to Andrew T. Johnson Co., Inc. Additional sets may be purchased through ATJ.
