INVITATION TO BID
The Dracut Public Schools, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Justus C. Richardson Middle School – Floor Upgrades located at 1570 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA 01826, in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Mount Vernon Group Architects, Inc., 178 Albion Street, Suite 240, Wakefield, MA 01880, (781) 213-5030. Bidding procedures and award of Contract and Subcontracts are subject to the provisions of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (M.G.L.), as amended, including Chapter 149, §44A to §44J inclusive of minimum wage rates as required by Section 26 to 29 and applicable sections of MGL Chapter 30, Section 39F to 39M inclusive, and 39R of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as amended to date, and regulations established by the Commissioner of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM).
The Project’s scope of Work shall include, but not limited to, selective demolition, installation of new flooring with moisture mitigation and all Work indicated in the Construction Documents. The estimated construction cost is $ 300,000.00.
